City of Side: Eagle Canyon and Selge Ancient City Day Trip
About this tour
Your adventure begins with a convenient minibus pickup from your hotel. Your first stop is near the Koprucay River, where you'll enjoy a refreshing break, a delicious lunch, and 45 minutes to wander at your leisure. You'll then travel onwards to an ancient Roman bridge, where you can capture some stunning photos and learn about its history from your expert guide. Next, you'll arrive at the ancient city of Selge, where you'll have 40 minutes to soak up the unique atmosphere and hear captivating stories from your guide. After pausing at the Roman Aqueducts for another photo session, you'll continue on to Eagle Canyon, setting off on a short hike with your guide to reach the canyon together. Once you've explored this fascinating location, you'll begin the drive home, arriving back at your hotel at around 5–6 PM with memories that will last a lifetime.

- • Please stay close to your guide at all times in Selge, as local people expect tips from tourists.
- • Please note the tour involves a hike to get to Eagle Canyon.
- • If your hotel located in old city Side, you should choose the "Side Anadolu Türkü Evi" as pickup point. We will send the meeting point google map link one day before the tour date.

5.0(1 review)Olaf5Unser Guide - Adam - war einfach super. Er hat alles sehr gut erklärt. Wir hätten gerne viel mehr Zeit an den wunderschönen Orten verbracht. Aber leider ist alles sehr knapp bemessen. Wir haben unglaublich viel gesehen vom Taurusgebirge, von den schönen Canyons und der antiken Stadt Selge. Er hat uns auch an ganz vielen Stellen die Reste der uralten römischen Handelsstraße demonstriert. Ein Highlight ist vor allem auch die flotte und rasante Fahrweise über die durchaus nicht immer ebenen Straßen und Feldwege, Auch Abkürzungen waren möglich, um den Anschluss an die Gruppe nicht zu verlieren. Wir haben uns trotzdem nicht unsicher gefühlt. Der Transport hat prima geklappt, das Essen war gut.
